A chef-owned, family-run restaurant in Buffalo Space, Bo Phut — built the same way we'd want a table for our own children.
LEO & LILY is named after the two people who matter most to us — our children. When we opened this restaurant, the question wasn't "what's trending on Koh Samui" — it was "where would we actually want to eat with our own kids?" The answer became this place: European and Russian dishes made the way we make them at home, a play room so parents can eat a hot meal in peace, and a kitchen that doesn't cut corners.
Our chef leads the kitchen personally, and the recipes on the menu — borscht, chicken Kiev, pelmeni, vareniki — are the same dishes our own family grew up on, adapted for fresh, local Samui ingredients.
Plenty of places on the island serve good food fast. We built LEO & LILY around a slower, more deliberate idea of what a family meal should feel like.
Not a corner with two toys — a supervised space kids actually want to spend time in, so the adults get a proper meal.
Borscht simmers for hours, pelmeni are folded by hand, and vareniki are made fresh — every day, not stocked frozen.
Fresh salads and lighter soups sit on the same menu as our comfort classics, for the days you want something lighter.
The person running the kitchen is the same person who opened the doors. That's who's cooking your food.
